East Bellevue Avenue, San Mateo, is a residential infill project.
The one third acre site is located on a residential street consisting
mostly of single family homes. The plan consists of six individual
townhome condominiums. Each home is approximately 1,600 square
feet and has two bedrooms, two and a half baths as well an attached
two car garage. The elevations were designed to respond sensitively
to the adjacent neighbors. They address this issue by borrowing
a similar material pallette of stained wood shingles and horizontal
lap siding. We also incorporated raised wood porches and wood
trellises to bring down the scale and add to the residential character.
Construction is scheduled to begin in Fall 2003. The Developer
