Shattuck Avenue Lofts are a 24 unit condominium project in Berkeley,
California. This was the first application of multilevel parking
lifts in the East Bay. The units utilize several space saving
features such as movable partitions, beds that rise up to the
ceiling when not in use and prefabricated kitchens. The top floor
units are loft units with two story volumes and additional living
space above the rear portion of the unit. The building was awarded
the Ahwahnee Award of Merit and was published in BUILDER magazine.
The project was completed in 1995 and the developer was Panoramic
